At the SID 2022 exhibition held recently, TCL Huaxing showcased a 17.3-inch 3K ultra-thin touch screen, which is currently the world's largest mass-produced notebook In cell touch screen.
Today (24th), TCL Huaxing announced on its official WeChat account that this screen has entered mass production at its Wuhan factory and will continue to be shipped from May onwards.
The size of this laptop touch screen is 17.3 inches, with a 21:10 ratio and 3K resolution, providing a larger visual range than conventional laptop screens.
In addition to being large enough, this screen has a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, adopts a narrow bezel design, and the module thickness is controlled at 2.2mm, providing excellent visual experience.
In addition, it adopts a larger in cell touch area and integrates touch sensors into the LCD panel. While saving internal space, it supports a finger touch frame rate of 120Hz and reports points with a stylus at 240Hz, which improves productivity.
From the parameters, it is highly likely that the 17.3-inch 3K 21:10 touch screen of Lenovo's new generation ThinkBook Plus will use the same screen as TCL Huaxing's.
In addition to this high-quality large screen, the ThinkBook Plus also integrates an 8-inch secondary screen on the right side of the C-side keyboard to assist in displaying information.
